Misfit Vapor

Misfit has been there in the wearable business for a long time now. They have already launched a couple of interesting fitness wearables, etc. under their name and now they have yet another new product to their name. This new fitness wearable from Misfit is called the Vapor. The Vapor is the brand’s first touchscreen smartwatch. It is more like a hybrid fitness band as well since it has different trackers such as sleep, activity and heart rate tracking. If you have ever used the Fitbit Blaze before, then the experience is pretty much going to be the same here more or less.

The Misfit Vapor features a 1.39” full round AMOLED display that has a vibrant color palette in 326 pixels per inch. In terms of sensors and internals, it has an accelerometer, altimeter, gyroscope, optical heart rate sensor, GPS, and microphone. It uses all of this to deliver a quality fitness tracking experience according to the company. Since it has a GPS built right into it, users don’t need to take their phones while going out for a run and in fact, you can also store music in the device and use a pair of Bluetooth headphones to listen to music as well. The Misfit Vapor also comes with touch bezel, which allows users to seamlessly browse Vapor’s menu of watch faces and applications, without having to touch the display and hide the content while doing so.

The Misfit Vapor is powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon WearTM 2100 processor and it comes with 4GB of internal storage and also has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. According to the company, the battery life should be good for two days worth of usage. However, this is something that is going to depend on of usage scenarios entirely. Vapor is swim proof and water resistant to 50 meters as well. The product will be available in two beautiful finishes like Jet Black and Rose Gold. The straps are interchangeable as well hence you can change them to pretty much anything you want according to your liking. The Misfit Vapor will be available later this year and it will carry a price tag of $199. Stay tuned for more info on this.
