JBL is good with their Bluetooth speaker’s range, and we all are well aware of it. What we have here today is a budget friendly model which most of you might be interested. This guy is priced at $99 as of now. Going over the physical features first, there is no question that it os built like a mini version of the JBL Charge. This is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand or your bag, yet it is built like a tank. The exterior is splashproof like most of the JBL speaker. However, you can’t submerge this is water. The nylon braided grill is very tough here with the ends offering grip which will help standing it upright. It also protects the passive protective base radiators on the sides. The buttons could be raised over a little but still it is not bad by any means.
The JBL Flip 3 comes with a braided cord attached. There is also a power button and JBL connect button to pair with another JBL speaker for sync and play. The range on the Bluetooth as well as the connect feature was pretty good. There are five white LEDs to inform how much battery power is left. There is also a clasp which hides the USB port as well as the audio port. The battery is supposed to last you for 10 hours and if you leave it on 50-percent volume, then you will able to achieve it easily. Do make a note that the packaging only comes with a USB cord and no power adapter.
As far as the sound quality goes, JBL always has a different sound signature that’s applied to nearly all of its recent speakers at least. For the Flip 3, it is fitting for most genres especially like pop, EDM and all casual listeners. The Flip 3 gets very loud for its size, for sure which ends up filling up a small room and use enough for a medium sized room as well. Due to its small size, the base is little less but better than some of the others in the price point. As for the Mids, JBL has gone with brighter mid-ranged level, where most instrument characteristics are present. Vocals are also quite good here. So overall, you would really enjoy this, and you won’t regret the decision at all.
