Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei is the new manufacturer entering the VR world. Honor has announced the new VR camera called the Honor VR Camera. Taking a close at the camera, the first thing you will notice is that it is no different than the Insta360 Air camera. Yes, it is a rebranded Insta360 Air with Honor branding. Talking about the camera, it is a spherical camera which goes to the back of your smartphone and connects via the micro USB port. The camera just weighs 26.5g and has a 37.6mm diameter which makes it very compact and easy to carry around.
The camera comes with a camera sensor with a f/2.4 aperture and is capable of taking photos in 3K (3008 x 1504) and videos of 2560 x1280 resolution with 30FPS. There is a LED indicator on the body of the camera which lets you know that the camera is now recording and there two lenses on the camera. The camera supports both USB as well as USB Type-C interface. The resultant images or footage is VR ready and the photos of objects can also be 3D printed using a 3D printer.
